Bryan's journey in politics began with his candidature for the Liberal Party in the 2011 federal election, where he showed promising potential despite finishing third. He also proposed Bill C-272, An Act to Amend the Copyright Act for diagnosis, maintenance, or repair purposes, reflecting his commitment to practical and inclusive legislative reforms. Bryan holds a degree from the University of Waterloo and has a background in non-profit management, which underscores his commitment to community service and social responsibility.
